Excellent stay, staff, room, premises, all A+
Breakfast buffet was spectacular. Very good smell around the premises, citric-like. A mall 3 blocks away. Very good restaurants. Great staff. Bus station closeby. The room was very well designed. Excellent experience.
Lack of night activities, maybe because the time of the year. Also, if pools are supposed to be warmed up, they have to be warmed up.

We booked to come back whilst still being there, it was such an epic time
Everything - we had an amplified room so had a hot tub on the balcony. The room was beautiful and the food was also lovely. Room service staff were extremely accommodating as were all staff

What was the highlight of Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife
Clean and comfy, but not really 5* although you pay the price for it
The hotel is pretty nice, looks good and has indeed a rock and roll feeling about it. The pools are nice (when the water was actually heated), the food is good although it has a little bit of an industrial taste (probably because it is a big hotel and there are a lot of guests). We really enjoyed the cleanliness, and the fact that the daily cleaning was done discreet and fast. The staff was helpful, especially the guys at the entrance, who were flexible when you wanted to park your rental and load it up with kids and all the stuff.
Overall, it doesn't feel like a 5* hotel, although it probably ticks all the boxes on paper. It was also a bit pricy for the things you got. Our feeling was that the main goal is to get money off of guests, not necessarily to provide a nice experience. You pay 1000+ EUR for 6 nights and they charge you 12 EUR for parking a day. You want to drink a bottle of wine in your room, it costs 12 EUR to "rent" 2 wine glasses. I get profit is the goal, but you can do it with a little bit more style. The Lagoon pool heating stopped working for a couple of days without no one even doing anything about it. We also found a couple of sharp screws in one of the pools (probably from some repair work) and we did take them to the Reception. We will be back in Tenerife, but for sure not at this hotel.
